After illustrating their latest cover, Columbus Monthly’s editor Kristen was nice enough to interview me for their October Small Talk column! You can read the interview over on their site here.
This was a fun job from the start— it’s rare that I love ALL of my sketches, but I was really pumped about each one of these options in different ways.
Thanks once again to the kind folks over at Columbus Monthly!
I’m so stoked to finally show off the work I did for Columbus Monthly! The team had a specific image they wanted for their October cover, and it was a lot of fun bringing that image to life (expect sketches soonish!) The feature is about 37 secrets gems to find in Columbus: nature trails, an experimental bar, and a hidden zoo to name a few. I handcrafted the typography for the article too, which was really exciting and different, even if I was constantly losing little cut up letters in the chaos of my workspace.
Big thanks to graphic designer Betsy Becker for this one!
This issue’s Canadian Lawyer posed a bit of a challenge, but voila! My illustration for Marg. Bruineman’s article on risk management.
More work for Canadian Lawyer- this time for their July cover!
